The Bugs of Blackwood: A Halloween Adventure

7:00 PM - 7:45 PM

Event Details

Open to all. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required. Presented by Sciencetellers. Benjamin has a good life living on Blackwood Avenue. Most of his neighbors are friendly, he has a large extended family always there for him, and on most days you'll find him working in the garden. However, all this was about to change on Halloween night when Benjamin was accidentally brought inside the house! You see, Benjamin is a bug - and now he must be rescued! Join us as we learn about the science of matter through the Halloween tale of "The Bugs of Blackwood." By using interactive experiments with fire, gas, air pressure, water, chemicals, and much more, we will see if Benjamin's friends - a tiny ant and a hungry caterpillar - can save him before all hope is squashed! Call the library at 266-0110 to register. Program is held at the Brigantine Beach Community Center, 265 42nd Street.
