Review
The Fault in our Stars is a amazingly written, inspiringly beautiful, page turning, metaphor filled, thought provoking, and heart wrenchingly sad book that I could read again and again. John Green never ceases to amaze me as all of his books are counted among my favorites.  Find it in the catalog!

Gone-Away Lake
Author
Elizabeth Enright
Review
This book perfectly sums up summer. When two cousins stumble upon a dried up lake surrounded by crumbling houses, they befriend the lake's two inhabitants. The old brother and sister living there paint a picture of gilded age vacations and luxuries on the canvas of a relatively modern summer. Anyone who has ever experienced summer in the past or present will instantly become enamored with this book.  Find it in the catalog!

Son of a Witch
Author
Gregory Maguire
Review
A beautifully written and thought provoking book, Son of a Witch is the second book in the Wicked series. Though it was detailed and proved Maguire to be one of the best written authors of this time, it was not as good as the first book otherwise known as Wicked.   Find it in the catalog!

A Man for All Seasons
Author
Robert Bolt
Review
A man for all seasons is a beautifully written play taking place in a time I find to be particularly fascinating. This play conveys Sir Thomas More having to choose between his obligation to his King and friend Henry VIII and his obligation to his conscience and his self. His virtue and moral compass eventually leading to his ultimate demise.   Find it in the catalog!
