Happy International Tabletop Day!  International Tabletop Day (ITTD), is a worldwide celebration of tabletop gaming for all members of the incredible community. In its seventh year, this is a great opportunity to nerd out and scratch your tabletop itch, to introduce your non-gamer friends to an incredibly enriching and rewarding hobby, or to come see what all of this board game fuss is about in the first place.

Stop by and enjoy an afternoon of fun board games with our gaming group! All are invited to join us on Saturday, April 28th, from 12-4 pm, in the Main Library's 2nd Floor Magazine Room, for an afternoon of meeting new people and playing new games.

As a reminder, if anyone has any games they want to bring regardless if it fits the theme please feel free to do so. Just be prepared to demo it for anyone that wants to give it a go.

This presentation will cover the what, where, when and how of growing plants in containers. Topics like plant selection, planting, care, and over-wintering will be covered for a variety of plants like flowering annuals and perennials, edibles and trees!  This program is presented by Master Gardener Nisha Khanna.

About Master Gardeners:
Rutgers Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who assist Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES) Cooperative Extension in its mission to deliver horticulture programs and information to the general public. Anyone with an interest in gardening and a commitment to volunteer service can become a Rutgers Master Gardener.

Nisha Khanna is a Master Gardener with the Rutgers Agricultural Extension Service for Middlesex County. She has been gardening organically for 25 years, the last 13 in North Edison. She recently abandoned her long computer software career to pursue her horticultural interests full time.  She acquired a Certificate in Landscape Design from the County College of Morris, and has launched her own small business . She also works as an Estate Horticulturist for a private estate that contains large vegetable, fruit and flower gardens.

Nisha is especially interested in sustainable and organic gardening practices, and has lectured on pesticide free gardening and native plants. She frequently talks to community groups, and teaches workshops at the EARTH Center.
