Life in today's world is stressful.  People are anxious about their health, their finances, their relationships, their safety and their work.

Doctor's and medical practitioners are promoting the benefits of meditation to relieve stress and anxiety.  By sitting in meditation, we can calm the body and the mind.  We can slow our brain waves to states of relaxation. When we are in a state of physical and mental calmness, we have more control over our reactions towards life's stressors.  We can make better decisions.  We can react more calmly to others, alleviating the tension in our relationships. Once we connect to a place of happiness and peace within us, we experience a reduction in our anxiety.  Through meditation we can cope with the stresses of life.  Meditation helps us replace anxiety with joy and peace. Join Jim Rose, long time meditator this informative lecture. There will even be a short meditation sitting.

Join us for a FREE acoustic set with the School Of Rock - Clark's House Band!

At the School of Rock kids and teens learn by playing rock music's most iconic songs with a band composed of their peers. Students are assigned songs and parts that are tailored to them based on their age, experience and ability to learn new skills and concepts. Students then work through their parts in weekly private music lessons, refining the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to prepare kids and teens for live performances. Every few months, School of Rock Clark Performance Program students take the stage and play at local music venues in front of a live audience.

Starts with a tragedy and how the characters handle it in their own way. Story keeps you in its grip and of course there is romance. Nora Roberts as always brings the characters and story location brilliantly to life. A good read.  Woodbridge Public Library Catalog

An interesting look into the world of chefs in New York City, though, fair warning, she did have a rather bohemian lifestyle before coming to the city to learn to become a chef.

Queen of the beach read, especially ally on Nantucket Island, this is Hildebrand’s first murder mystery. Lots of local flavor, sharp writing, and a dose or two of humor.

The author mentions the bride-to-be’s mother as being an author, washed-up, and on her 23rd book. Wink, wink - a laugh at Elin herself.

Lots of laughs, and drama, and the real question, which is “Who is the Perfect Couple”? And who is the murderer? This will keep you reading until you find out.   Woodbridge Public Library Catalog
